I assume that you're talking about Manchester United's pre-season tour. If so, I suggest you rename the topic with a more suitable title like "Manchester United - Pre-season Tour 2011" or something like that.

Done. Title changed!
Now, what about the fixtures and result? Heard that ManUtd was playing today?

What's the score?

I haven't heard much about the fixtures but I know they have crushed New England Revolution of Boston, USA by 4 goals to 1 yesterday. Smile

That was really a boost for the newly recruits and the youngsters.
I just hope the team continues to produce such performance once the season starts.

Any news about the next match? When is it being played?

They played really well in their last match, against Chicago Fire, and won by 3-1. Rooney, Rafael and Nani were on target. In their previous match, they thrashed Sounders by 7-0 where Owen, Diouf, Rooney (Hat-trick), Park and Obertan scored.

I also hope they continue on this impressive form when the English Premier League starts but before, they'll play against David Beckham and his MLS All Stars followed by FC Barcelona. I can't wait for those two matches.

There is only one problem, the time the match are played is the time I'm off!
I've not been able to watch a single pre season match of ManUtd!
Sad

Those matches are being played at a time which is almost impossible for us to watch in Mauritius.

By the way, David Beckham and his MLS All Stars were thrashed by 4 goals to nil by Manchester United moments ago. Anderson, Park, Berbatov and Welbeck were on target.

I think after the retirement of Scholes, its has been the opportunity for Anderson's cue to shine!
Hope the team continues in such form and gets much more better before they face Barcelona.
By the way, I heard Chicharito went to the hospital.. confused
What happened?

Nothing serious. A minor head collision...
This is according to the medial report. What makes me laugh and perplex is that Ferguson said that Chicharito would be kept away from the pitch for 2-3 weeks.. LOL!

I'm sure that was a typo for medical. Smile

From what I have read on the net, Chicharito has had a concussion and in my view, it's a serious issue. A 3-week complete rest is the main treatment.

By the way, no Messi, no problem. Manchester United beat Barcelona last night by two goals to one. Nani and Owen did the job for us. Very Happy
