Re: Change of Usernames Disabled

I created this topic because of yourself, The Viper. Once, you were known as Vishaan and when we had to quote something from you or track your previous posts, it was okay. However, this has changed recently with your new username because it creates confusion when we have to refer to your older messages.

Now, if I were a new member of the forum, I would have found it even more confusing as the way you used to communicate before and the way you do it now has changed drastically.

So, as a matter of fact, I voted to get this feature disabled.

ben though it does create confusion, one will think that he must have the right to do so for a particular reason, so me am just neutral!!!!

Let's say your name is X and you have been using X as your username for 2 years. However, you decide to change it to Y and some days later someone registers himself/herself with the username X. How would you feel at that particular moment? Razz

Mo pense bien ke bzin reject sa option la!
yeh its true, it do create confusion!
Once you register with a particular you should go on with that name only!
I agree with what Varun said!
I mean what's the use of changing names? confused
What, don't you like your own original name?
Would you like if ever someday someone would call you by another name, let's take for example we have "Hi, The Viper" instead of his own name! Razz
Well its bullshit then!

Sorry for having taking the example of The Viper!

I voted against the change of usernames for the simple reason that I would prefer that everyone preserves his/her name from the start for less confusion in the forum. Just imagine if everyone changes his/her user name, what will happen?
