Football Transfer Window - Summer 2009

Post by Kavi on Wed 13 May 2009 - 22:54

The 2009 European football season is nearing its end and rumours about possible transfers are already surfacing. Today, we heard that Carlos Tevez might not be with the Red Devils for the next campaign... Crying or Very sad

I'm also sad about this news but I don't think Fergie wants Carlos Tevez to go. If there's a problem that's with MSI Investments, the company who holds the player's rights.

Following what happened to West Ham when they purchased Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano three seasons ago, I think Manchester United are simply trying to look at how they can avoid such problems and this, for sure, takes time.

On the other hand, it has been rumoured that Frank Ribery will sign for Manchester United after Bayern Munich seems to be very interested in Diego, the Werder Bremen player.

Breaking official news from www.ManUtd.com...

Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of £80million for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

At Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player.

Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June. The club will not comment until further notice.

I guess it was 94 million Euros. That would be a lot of money and with that we could seal Tevez's deal and may be make way for Frank Ribery and Karim Benzema. Wink

Breaking Newssssssssssss..............
Tevez left Manchester United for our direct rival in Premier League, Manchester City. On the other hand, Karim Benzema wants to join Real Madrid and the club has already made an offer for the french.

Frank Ribery now changed his mind and wants to join his friend Karim
Benzema in Real Madrid also. All our chances of buying 1 of those good players are gone nw.

Now Varun, can u tell us what are the 2 players that Manchester United has just purchased........

Manchester United haven't bought 2 players but 3 and they are Antonio Valencia from Wigan, Sean McGinty from Charlton Athletic and Michael Owen who was a free agent.

I'm now asking myself how would the Scousers react when they would see Michael Owen scoring for the Red Devils against their team and that too at Anfield. Let's just hope it happens and in the meantime let them digest this...

Also, even if he was an Anfield favourite, don't forget that he grew up as a blue boy, that is, an Everton fan. Razz
