From a courtesy point of view, this is wrong but from a sensible/critical eye, this should be the best option. Razz

This is of a real concern, you know. I mean, who ever thought he/she would one day pay Rs 10 to pee or to just have a close look in the mirror.

I think I should get some pictures of that new and disgusting business...

Sweetheart, you've said it! They have made the loo a disgusting business. Maybe one day entrance in shopping complexes will be charged for all the facilites they offer including elevator or lift. Shocked

What can i say, the only thing that can be done is that one becomes Osama Bin Laden geek in Mauritius and propel terrorism everywhere, so when he or she would have to answer nature's call, he would not have to pay, the owner of the shopping complexes would invitingly Twisted Evil let you use the toilets and that too not with a discount but free of cost. Cool

That's quite something to be worried about as one can tell you anything in writing in creole and if by mistake you say yes.
then you may regret it

oh! these are called water closets! haha! neva knew this!! by the way, here we don't say "water closets" or "toilets" !!! We say washroom or restroom. if u say toilets here people laugh at u!
That's bcuz toilet is actually the thing in which you pee, and if u ask for toilet, they might just spray some toilet detergent on your face! hahahahahaha!!! that's a bit of the world over here! oh my god! can't stop laughing! !!!!hahaha!!

But don't take this in a wrong manner ok! Wink

Don't me amazed if you see the label "Restroom" in restaurants or shopping malls in Mauritius now, Jyotsna. I've noticed that they are changing it here gradually.

Post by Varun on Sun 15 Nov 2009 - 19:14

You know, I have the habit of taking one or two things with me when I go in the water closet. It may be a calculator, my cellphone, a magazine or any other thing and more than once, one of those things has fallen in the loo. So naturally, I have to fish it to get it back and to prevent it from blocking the drainage pipe, you see? Embarassed
