We are all young people here and people of our age are most of the time very shy at cooking. However, I know everyone has his/her own favourite recipe(s) be it for a lonely occassion or a special one. So, why not share them here!

hmm...lol jsai ke sa parait bizarr ki mo kne cuit tousa...mai c vre...pki mo adoreeeee cuit...mai pa dire mwa lave laziette...balier lakaz...ou lave linz...zamai dan mo lavie mne fer sa:S ek mo pa krwar n jour mo pu kv fer tousa...zis cuit manzer mo pu kv...pki mwena n passion pu sa...lolx bol renveC mo pa kne cuit...mai alime weii...koike mo bizen apran kuma fer bol renverC koz mo fek kumence kntan manz ha la...zordi em mone ale lesplanade du pouce pu manz n bol renveC special ek mo fam bien sure!

B morsi mo anvi miam alim. Zis 1 foi dan mo lavi monn miam alim, sasi mo mama ti cuit lakaz... Mo anvi gout Plen des Roches so alim n cout.

We don't eat "alim", we drink it or I should rather say we sip it and don't worry, honey, time will come for you to taste it in Plaine des Roches after our marriage.

Recipe for halim:
craze zepices: canelle, zeroffe, elaiti et tilani(n tigit em)
dab tempo met de 'huile, oignon, epices craze la ek la viande bouc + du sel
Ferme tempo...laiss cuit==> foD tempo la soufler 6coute
Epice halim
cotomili ek so rcine, la menthe, 1gro oignon, 2gousse l'ail et 1 ti boute gingembre, safran, ti lani(2 cuillere)
craze tousa!
Met dhall tipois tremP 30minite avant
Dan tempo laviande met epice halim la-ferme tempo laisse li souffle 1coute
ajoute dhall tipois et delo met enkor 1ti peu dusel, ferme tempo-laiss li soufler 5coute
Then ouvert gueT si dhall la in cuit-Dhall la bizen fond net.
Lerla dan n caraille met 1peu del'huile, oignon, 2pomme d'amour(crazer bien), queue d'oignon et cotomili==> fricasse li apre met li dan halim la
En dernie met concaseuse ladan..ferme tempo laiss li soufler 2coute...apre ale manzer:P

Deesha, thanks very much. I'll surely try this one day. Not now for I'm caught up with the coming exams.

Can we have it in a real recipe format? I mean everything explained in order as they should be done.

Well, once you talk to dad about us, I can come in Plaine des Roches and drink it, what say?
But that would be next year, again long waiting time...

hey pu divali for the 1st time mone fer rasgoulas, gulab jamun ek nankatai!! was really good n tou mo gato ine fini! was proude of meself. deman moi ki recet zot lé me pu give akoz me cuit depi ki mone gai 14ans!!! i love cooking..n obviously eating oci! at the mo im loving shepard pie..its very good n very easy to make..
I large onion chopped
1 carrot peeled chopped
2 celery stick chopped
500g lean lamb mince
1 1/2 vege stock
2 tbs worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup frozen peas
3 large potatoes
1/2 cup skim milk
1 - heat a large pan..lightly coat with cookinh oil spray..add onion, carrot, celery and cook stirring for 5mins or unitl onion softens.
2- add mince n cook, stirring while breaking up any lumps, for 5 nmins or until lamb changes colour.
3- stir stock n sauce n bring to boil. reduce the heat to low n cook stirring for 30mins or unitl sauce thickens. add epas n cook strring for 2 mins. remove from heat.
4-meanwhile cook potatoes in large saucepan of salted boiling water for 10mins or until tender. drain well n add milk n mash until smooth. taste n season with salt.
5- preheat oven to 200 degrees n spoon the mince into a 2L dish ovenproof. top with mash n use a fork to spread over the lamb mixture. bake for 20min or until golden brown n hot. remove from oven n serve hot!

I don't agree with this statement. I've tasted your "dipain frir" last saturday and I found it rather tasty despite you were saying that it wasn't up to your expectations.
