UEFA Champions League - 2008/09

Post by Varun on Thu 18 Sep 2008 - 9:33

It was not a bright start for the champions following a nil-nil draw against Villareal. On the other hand, all of this season's favourites have registered their first wins with the exception of Arsenal who also drew at Dynamo Kiev.

Forget the defeat agaisnt Zenit St. Petersburg in the Super Cup and AS Roma, Amit. Now that Chelsea's injury list has lengthened, I can't a see a better team than Manchester United in this year's tournament. Smile

We have already passed the first leg of the quarter-finals, stupid boy. Have a look at the results...

What now worries me is that FC Porto is unbeaten at the Estadio do Dragao when it comes to UEFA Champions League matches. Embarassed

However, there's a great news; Liverpool are almost out of the competition. lol!

Well with the performance of its two last matches,......
i don't think that Sir Alex Ferguson will be holding the cup this season.

Despite being a fan of Manchester United, i can tell you that Barcelona is going to take possession of the cup this time!!!

We have already stepped into the semi-finals, kid. Things will take a completely different dimension now and as always, I still believe Manchester United can do it again.

For sure, Barcelona seems to be the most dangerous team at this time but their tactics can fail against Chelsea and we can have a remake of last year's final in some weeks' time. Personally, I would love to see the Red Devils giving Chelsea the blues one more time. Wink

Manchester United played a crappy football on that night. I couldn't recognise them but well, Barcelona were worthy champions. Sad

The Red Devils should have played the match using a 4-4-2 formation and with that, things could have been different.
